A fine and rare Early 19th Century Antique Georgian Blue and White Transfer Plate from the "Rural Scenes" series by John Davenport of Longport, Staffordshire. This particular view is unrecorded in Coysh and Henrywood's "Dictionary of Blue and White Printed Pottery 1780 - 1880".
