A good Early 19th Century Antique Welsh Georgian Blue and White Transfer Plate in the "Long Bridge" pattern, produced by Dillwyn and Co. of Swansea. An excellent example of this sought after Chinoiserie design with the insect border, the rim decorated with yellow ochre enamel. Upper case impressed mark, SWANSEA to underside, plus fine stilt marks. Tiny, (1 mm) chip to edge at 10.00 o'clock, otherwise in fine condition. Width : 9.75 inches : Year : Circa 1815 : Ref.
