A Bibliography of Edith, Osbert and Sacheverell Sitwell : Richard Fifoot

A fine, clean copy of the Second, revised edition of "A Bibliography of Edith, Osbert and Sacheverell Sitwell", by Richard Fifoot, published by Rupert Hart-Davis of London in 1971 as one of their acclaimed series, "The Soho Bibliographies". The three Sitwells, Edith {1887 - 1964}, Osbert {1892 - 1969} and Sacheverell {1897 - 1988} have for many years been among the most discussed of twentieth century British writers. Though the "enfants terribles" of the twenties have become firmly established as one of the most respected and distinguished of literary families, this process has not brought any very complete appreciation of the wide range and significance of their work. This fine academic bibliography should go far to correct that. See Renishaw Hall - The Sitwell Family for further details of this fascinating family whose influence so permeated the early twentieth century British literary and social scene. See also, "The World of Sacheverell Sitwell", by Denys Sutton, Apollo Magazine : Vol. CXII : Nos. 223, 224 and 225. Hard covers, 432 pages, original dust jacket. Ref. ZABOEOASS/D4. $85.00.  *** INCLUDES FREE SHIPPING WITHIN U.K. ***
