However, the only extant Weights and Measures Inspector's stamp appears to be Edwardian, and as such measures were produced over a long period, we have chosen to err on the side of caution when cataloguing this piece. Fellow Dealer's and Collector's comments vis-a-vis these matters are most welcome. The body stamped GALLON, the collar with Weights and Measures Stamp, ER over 34 and 6 over 56, the footrim stamped with unidentified Maker's Mark.
