The underside with printed Maker's Mark of the period,  depicting an anchor within a cartouche formed of DAVENPORT and STONE CHINA, indicating an early date ~ Masons introduced their Patent Ironstone China in 1813, but, according to Geoffrey Godden, { Mason's China and the Ironstone Wares ~ A.C.C.
