A really lovely Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Copper Coffee Pot by William Soutter & Sons of Birmingham, { c. 1760 - 1928 }, whose main business in 1802, and for some years afterwards according to Berrow's Worcester Journal, was as tea urn manufacturers. Ref. Birmingham History. This fine three pint coffee pot bearing their early mark on the underside, together with the numeral 3, is here offered in excellent condition, with brazed seam, ebonised side handle, heart shaped escutcheon and flared foot, the hinge in good order, and the inside tinned, all just as it should be. As fine an example of Soutter's work as one might hope to find.
