A most attractive and well coloured Pair of Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery Whippets ~ H a2623 ~ H a2624, standng, four square with no supports, the finer of the two known versions of this model, each dog with a brown rabbit in it's mouth. Harding { Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835 - 1875 }, illustrates this model in three sizes, 6.00, 9.00, and 12.00 inches in height. As this pair stand 7.50 inches tall, we have here, for the sake of clarity, added the prefix "a" to each of the relevant catalogue numbers.
