A most attractive Pair of Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pottery "Zebras" ~ H 3122 ~ H 3123, here prancing upon rocky bases. These are actually models of horses, having flowing manes, rather than brushes, but as few potters of the period would actually have encountered a zebra in the flesh, existing models of horses were decorated so as to resemble their tropical cousins. Old hairlines.
