This attractive Mid 20th Century First Year of Issue Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Autumn Breezes"~ HN 1911, one of Royal Doulton's most successful and popular models, here decorated in a green and pink colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1939 to 1976. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton Bone China printed backstamp of the period as used from 1932, this together with the numeral 12, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1939, ie. the First Year of Production, in green script, Autumn Breezes, and HN 1911, illegible impressed Date Code and in black an unidentified Painter's Monogram, which may be read as either, LH, HL, VH, or HV, the two letters being intertwined.
