This delightful Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Sweet and Twenty" ~ HN 1649, decorated in a green, cream and pink colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and was issued, according to Charlton's catalogue, for just three years, from 1934 to 1936. Fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, together with the numeral 10, indicating that this example would appear to have been potted in 1937, the title, "Sweet & Twenty", Rd. No. 737560, { for 1928 }, indistinct impressed Model Number and Date Code, plus in green script, HN 1649, and in yellow, an unidentified Painter's Monogram which could possibly be LM, LH, VM or VH.
