This delightful Mid / Late 20th Century Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "The Love Letter" ~ HN 2149, decorated in a soft pink and blue colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies and was issued from 1958 to 1976. The underside fully marked with the Royal Doulton green printed backstamp of the period, plus title, The Love Letter, H.N.2149, COPR 1957, DOULTON AND CO. LIMITED, Rd.No.885079, { for 1957 }, Rd.No. 36875, Rd.No. 77770, Rd.No. 195/57, indistinct impressed Model Number, and in script, Painter's Monogram, AH, unidentified, but listed as working at Doulton.
