This lovely First Year of Issue Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Marguerite" ~ HN 1928, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine and was issued in this pink colourway from 1940 to 1959. Beautifully modelled and well coloured, the base fully marked in green with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp for the period, this together with the numeral 13, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1940, the First Year of Issue, indistinct impressed Model Number and impressed Date Code, 13, and in green script, "Marguerite", HN 1928 together with the unidentified Painter's Monogram JWB.
