A fine and most interesting Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Brass Telescopic Candlestick of unusual design, the sconce having a fixed steel cup insert, while the column is raised by an internal push-rod that normally one would expect to be a candle-stub ejector. Whether or not this lovely old piece, which is unmarked and in excellent working condition, has been "improved" by some skilled Engineer at some point during it's long life we regard as a matter of conjecture.
