A good pair of Early 19th Century Antique English Late Georgian Brass Candlesticks of uncommon form and good colour. The well turned columns rising from square stepped bases and still retaining their original internal candle ejectors. N.B. :- These Late Georgian candlesticks are often confused with the Victorian models which, in due course, developed from them. For similar examples see "Old Domestic Base-Metal Candlesticks", by Ronald F. Michaelis, { Antique Collectors' Club : Woodbridge ~ 1978 }, Figures 182, 183 and 185.
