A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Plate, printed in a medium blue palette in "The Cowman" pattern, unmarked, the Maker unknown, although John and William Ridgway of Cauldon Place and Bell Works, Shelton, Hanley, Staffordshire, { 1814 - c.1830 } have been suggested as the likely Potters. The scene shows a cow in the foreground with a man standing just behind a bank on the right under a tree. On the left is a small thatched cottage among trees.

Height ~ 25.40 cm. / 10.00 inches ~ Width ~ 25.40 cm. / 10.00 inches ~ Depth ~ 2.00 cm. / 0.75 inches ~ Year ~ Circa 1820.
