A good Early 19th Century Antique English Georgian Blue and White Transfer Indented Pottery Plate printed in the "Eastern Port" Pattern by John & William Ridgway of Hanley, Staffordshire, { 1814 - c. 1830 }. The pattern, which shows an Eastern port scene framed within within a floral border featuring several crowns flanked by thistles and roses, remained unattributed until recent years when an example bearing the rare impressed lower case "Ridgway" mark was reported.
