Superbly decorated with a spray of the orchid, Cattlaya Mossiae, the beaded border heavily gilded, this fine piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. This example signed on the obverse, Reginald Johnson, the reverse signed Cattlaya Mossiae Orchids by Studio Potter Reginald Johnson.
