Superbly decorated, with a bouquet of Spring flowers, on an unmarked Royal Crown Derby body, the border finely gilded, this fine piece offers the perfect introduction to the works of this talented Staffordshire artist, examples of whose work may now be viewed at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery. Signed on the obverse, Reg Johnson, and on the reverse in brown script, ORIGINAL PAINTING by Reginald Johnson on CROWN DERBY PLATE 1982.
