A fine Early 20th Century Antique English Edwardian Royal Doulton Pottery Jug in the popular "Hydra" shape, first introduced by Charles & James Mason during the early part of the nineteenth century, but not so often encountered from Doulton, despite their vast output. This one decorated in sparkling colours with an Imari inspired design, the base bearing the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period in underglaze blue, { Godden Mark No. 1333 }.
