Description

This rare and fine First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "The Potter" ~ HN 1518, offered here in a green colourway, was designed by Doulton's famous Art Director Charles Noke , and issued from 1932 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton backstamp as used from 1927 to 1932, this together with the numeral 5, indicating that this figurine was produced in 1932, the first year of issue, The Potter HN 1518, Potted by Doulton &. Co, plus in black, the Painter's Monogram H for Emma C. Harrison, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1933.
