A good Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Copper Ale Mull, of lipped conical form, the body with brazed seam and with strap handle. Commonly found in homes of the period, these were used for the preparation of mulled ales and wines, being inserted into the hot embers of the fire to "mull" the spiced liquid, thus producing a fine "Winter Warmer", guaranteed to be most welcome in the chilly British climate.
