A most attractive Mid / Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Copper Kitchen Mould of seamed construction, bearing the impressed mark of an Orb and Cross, the Maker's Mark of Benham and Froud { 1855 - 1906 }, of Chandos Street, London, together with the impressed numerals 614. Originally founded in 1785 by John Kepp, the famous "Orb" was adopted as a trademark, because in 1821 the firm made the present cross on the dome of St. Paul's Cathedral, 23 feet high and weighing seven tons, and this could be seen from their London shop.
