An attractive Early 20th Century Antique Gaudy Welsh Jug of globular form, colourfully decorated in a traditional palette in "Oyster" pattern by Allertons of Longport, Staffordshire. The base with the black printed mark as used by the pottery from circa 1912, this plus a red painted numeral 4 together with the impressed numerals 24 this latter possibly denoting the year of manufacture ~ Ex A. & P. Todd Collection.
