An amusing Early 20th Century Antique Toby Jug by Allerton's of Longton, Staffordshire, the median of three sizes presently available. The underside with printed Maker's mark in black as used by the pottery from circa 1912. To quote Monica South, "It is debatable whether or not "Toby" items are true "Gaudy Welsh".
