A rare and fine Early 18th Century Antique Dutch or English Georgian Pewter Coffee Urn in wholly untouched condition, even down to the turned wooden "shoes" which support it's three cabriole legs. Retaining it's original brass spigot complete with removable tap, the Queen Anne pear shaped body and high-domed cover, with matching turned fruitwood and brass finial, all point to this attractive piece having been produced during the Early Georgian period. Unmarked. For a comparable, though more elaborate example in paktong, see Schiffer ~ Page 347 { A }, "The Brass Book", Exton, PA, 1978.
