A most attractive Late 19th Century Antique English Victorian Pewter Coffee Urn, the form deriving from that in fashion some one hundred and fifty or so years earlier { see our Stock Ref. AEGPCU-74 }. The pear shaped body rising from three shapely cabriole legs set upon turned wooden shoes and mounted with two ornate side handles, the high domed cover with matching turned wooden finial. The spigot marked with the numeral 8 and with flame / sunburst handle. The underside of the body stamped 95%, with a ducal crown above a rose, plus a Lion rampant dexter, ie. facing to the right, within a shield cartouche.
