Clarke and Frank Wrench, (the latter, for some reason hardly ever receiving a mention!), was the first work of any note to catalogue in a systematic manner the colour printed pictures on Pot Lids which subsequently became so avidly sought after and collected. This seminal publication formed the bedrock upon which later enthusiasts such as Mr and Mrs A. Ball based their researches and developed their collections. Hard covers, 205 pages, important pioneering text with black and white plates. An absolutely essential book for the serious Pot Lid collector.
