This striking Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Good King Wenceslas" ~ HN 2118, decorated in a rich brown and purple colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies and was issued from 1953 to 1976. The underside with Royal Doulton green printed backstamp of the period, plus title, Good King Wenceslas, H.N. 2118, COPR 1952, DOULTON AND CO LIMITED, indistinct impressed Model Number, and in script, Painter's Monogram, GG, for Gerard Garner.
