A rare and fine First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Granny's Shawl" ~ HN 1642, in a Different Colourway, wearing a pink tinged cream dress with a blue and green shawl, designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine , and issued from 1934 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton backstamp of the period, this together with the numeral 7, indicating that this figurine was produced in 1934, the first year of issue, "Granny's Shawl", Rd. No. 794188, { for 1934 }, in green script, HN1642, Potted by Doulton & Co., plus, in puce, the Painter's Monogram RB, for Reg Brown, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1928 to 1962.
