A fine example of this Early / Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine ~ "The Flower Seller's Children" ~ HN 1342, designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, issued from 1929 to 1993, and one of Doulton's most touching and endearing models. This lovely old figurine is decorated in a purple, red and yellow colourway and comes complete with a basket of beautifully modelled flowers, these early pieces being so much finer than the later, "clumpier" products. The underside fully marked with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp of the period in green, indistinct impressed Model Number, in ornate green script, "Flower Seller's Children", HN 1342, and the Painter's Monogram G, for Edith Green, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1936.
