This delightful Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Afternoon Tea" ~ HN 1747, decorated in a pink and blue colourway, was designed by Doulton artist P. Railston, and was issued from 1935 to 1982. This example fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, Afternoon Tea, HN 1747, COPR 1936, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, and the Painter's Monogram, EW, for Eric Webster, recorded as working at Doulton from 1909 to 1962, thus indicating that this figurine therefore pre-dates 1963.
