This delightful First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Blossom" ~ HN 1667, decorated in an attractive orange and blue colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine, and was issued from 1934 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp for the period together with the numeral 7, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1934, the first year of issue, in green script, "Blossom", HN1667., Potted by Doulton & Co., indistinct impressed Model Number and Date Code, plus in black, the Painter's Monogram, RB, for Reg Brown, recorded as working at Doulton from Circa 1928 to 1962.
