This striking Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Bluebeard" ~ HN 1528, decorated in a red and purple colourway, was designed by leading artist Leslie Harradine and was issued from 1932 to 1949. The underside fully marked in black with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, this together with the numeral 16, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1943, painted title, Bluebeard, HN 1528., indistinct impressed Model Number and what appears to be the impressed numeral 1.
