This delightful Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Dorcas" ~ HN 1558, decorated in a purple colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and was issued from 1933 to 1952. Fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, this alongside the numeral 13, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1940, the title, "Dorcas", Rd No 769308, { for 1931 }, HN 1558, indistinct impressed Model Number, plus, in blue, the Painter's Monogram, D., for Doug Bowman, listed as working at Doulton to Circa 1964.
