This scarce and attractive Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Janet"~ HN 1538, decorated in a purple colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1932 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, this together with the numeral 6, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1933, "Janet., Rd. No. 778640 { for 1932 }, in green script, Janet, HN1538, Potted by Doulton & Co., indistinct impressed Model Number, and Painter's Monogram, FH, possibly for Florence Hunt.
