A rare and fine First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Lady Clare" ~ HN 1465, decorated in a red colourway, designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine , and issued from 1931 to 1937. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp as used from 1927 to 1932, this together with the numeral 4, indicating that this figurine was issued in 1931, the first year of issue, and in red, the Painter's Monogram TJP for Tom Parton, recorded as working at Doulton from Circa 1930 onwards, Lady Clare, Rd. No. 763834, { for 1931 }, Potted by Doulton &. Co., HN 1465, impressed Date Code 7-3-31, and an impressed Model Number.
