This lovely Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Marguerite" ~ HN 1946, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine and was issued in this pink colourway from 1940 to 1949. Beautifully modelled and well coloured, the base fully marked in green with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp for the period, this alongside the numeral 16, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1943, "Marguerite", Rd No 837465, { for 1939 }, indistinct impressed Date Code in two parts which appears to read, 10 1043, { for 10 October 1943 ? }, and in green script, HN 1946 together with, in blue, the Painter's Monogram GP, probably for George Parker, listed as working at Doulton Circa 1945 to 1992.
