A rare and fine Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Marion" ~ HN 1583, wearing a blue dress with patterned shawl, designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine , and issued from 1933 to 1940. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, together with the numeral 7, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1934, "Marion, Rd. No. 787875, { for 1933 }, in green script, Marion, HN1583, Potted by Doulton & Co., indistinct impressed Model Number / Date Code, plus in puce, the Painter's Monogram C, this perhaps a partial rendering of CH., unidentified, but recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1935.
