This pretty Mid 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Noelle" ~ HN 2179, was designed by leading Doulton artist Margaret "Peggy" Davies and was issued from 1957 to 1967. Seasonally decorated in an orange, white and black colourway, the base with Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period in green, plus title, "Noelle", HN.2179, COPR 1956, DOULTON AND CO. LIMITED, Rd.No.881501, { for 1956 }, Rd.No. 35696, Rd.No. 7551, Rd.No. 327/56, indistinct impressed Model Number, and in black script, Painter's Monogram, D., for Doug Bowman, listed as working at Doulton to Circa 1964.
