This charming First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Patricia" ~ HN 1431, decorated in a pleasing palette of lavender and blue, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1930 to 1949. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, together with the numeral III, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1930, the first year of issue; "Patricia", Rd. No. 755478, { for 1930 }, and in black script, "Patricia" HN 1431, Potted by Doulton & Co., Painter's Monogram, RB, probably for Reg Brown, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1928 to 1962. N.B. :- Faint old hairline at base of this piece.
