This attractive Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Phyllis" ~ HN 1420, decorated in a purple and green colourway, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and was issued from 1930 to 1949. One of four colourway variations of this particular model listed in Charlton's Standard Catalogue of Royal Doulton Figurines. This example fully marked on the underside in green with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp of the period, together with the numeral 8, indicating that this figurine was produced in 1935, "Phyllis", Rd. No. 755940, { for 1930 }, and in script, Phyllis, HN 1420, Potted by Doulton & Co.,Indistinct impressed Model Number, and Painter's Monogram, possibly A.
