A rare and fine First Year of Issue Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Rita" ~ HN 1448, wearing a red dress with green shawl, designed by leading Doulton artist, Leslie Harradine , and issued from 1931 to 1938. The underside fully marked in green with the Royal Doulton backstamp as used from 1927 to 1932, this together with the numeral 4, indicating that this figurine was produced in 1931, the first year of issue, the Painter's Monogram AE in blue for Ada E. Fimister, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1930, "Rita", Rd. No. 760270, { for 1930 }, and in red script, "Rita", HN 1448, and Potted by Doulton & Co, plus indistinct impressed Model Number.
