This charming Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine, "Sweet Anne" ~ HN 1496, decorated in a rich purple palette, one of a total of seven colourways produced, was designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, and issued from 1932 to 1967, this particular figure potted in 1939. The underside fully marked in green with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp of the period together with the numeral 12 for 1939, Sweet Anne, Rd. No. 743560, { for 1929 }, Impressed Model Number and numeral 7, in green script, HN 1496, plus clear Painter's Monogram in black, so far unidentified.
