This example fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp as used from 1927 to 1932, The Alchemist, Rd. No. 736538, { for 1928 }, In red script, The Alchemist, HN 1282, Potted by Doulton & Co, indistinct impressed Model Number and impressed Date Code 31128, for 03 November 1928, plus the Painter's Monogram, CN, unidentified but recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1927.
