A fine example of this Early 20th Century Vintage Royal Doulton English Porcelain Figurine ~ "The Flower Seller's Children" ~ HN 1206, designed by leading Doulton artist Leslie Harradine, issued from 1926 to 1949, and one of Doulton's most touching and endearing models. This lovely old figurine is decorated in a blue and purple colourway and comes complete with a basket of beautifully modelled flowers, these early pieces being so much finer than the later, "clumpier" products. The underside fully marked with the printed Royal Doulton backstamp of the period in brown, this with the numeral 10, indicating that this figurine was potted in 1937, in green script, The Flower Seller's Children, HN 1206, and in black, the Painter's Monogram TJP, for Tom Parton, recorded as working at Doulton from Circa 1930 onwards.
