This example fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, together with the numeral 7, indicating that this piece was potted in 1934, "The Gossips"., Rd. No. 757755, { for 1930 }, In green script, The Gossips, HN 1426, Potted by Doulton & Co, Impressed numeral 1, indistinct Model Number and Date Code 1234 for 01 February 1934, plus in red, the Painter's Monogram, BC interlaced for Bertha M. Capes, recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1927 onwards.
