This example fully marked on the underside in green with the Royal Doulton printed backstamp of the period, together with the numeral 4, indicating that this piece was potted in 1931, "The Gossips"., Rd. No. 757755, { for 1930 }, In black script, "The Gossips", HN 1429, Potted by Doulton & Co, Impressed numeral 13, indistinct Model Number and impressed Date Code 41030 for 04 October 1930, plus the Painter's Monogram, RF x, unidentified, but recorded as working at Doulton Circa 1930.
