A late but fine and well coloured example of one of Royal Doulton's most successful and longest running models, this Mid to Late 20th Century English Porcelain Figurine, "The Potter" ~ HN 1493, offered here in a brown colourway, was designed by Doulton's famous Art Director Charles Noke, and was in production for some sixty years from 1932 to 1992. This example undated, but probably Post 1950, the underside with green printed Royal Doulton backstamp for the period, The Potter, H.N. 1493, DOULTON & CO LIMITED, plus, Painter's Monogram ?, of three leaf-like marks arranged in triangular form.
