The underside with Royal Doulton black printed backstamp of the period, plus title, Town Crier., COPR 1952, DOULTON AND CO. LIMITED., Rd.No.868329., { for 1952 }, Rd.No. 30498., Rd.No. 190/52., Rd.No. 6646., printed numeral 8, indistinct impressed Model Number, and in black script, Painter's Monogram, JB, unidentified but listed as working at Doulton Circa 1955 to 1959.
