Crisply moulded and well coloured, this attractive Mid 19th Century Antique English Victorian Staffordshire Pastoral Spill Vase Figure Group ~ H 2077a, is catalogued by Harding, { Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835 - 1875 } as Fig. 2077a. Depicting a man and woman seated above a brick arch below which a stream flows, she with plumed hat, cloak, jacket and long skirt, holding a basket of fruit in her right hand. He with plumed hat, shirt with collar, and long tunic with boots, his right arm around his companion, he holds her left hand in his while a bird perches in a tree to their left.
